Mark J. Warner has concentrated his practice in the areas of divorce, other family law matters and contested probate proceedings since 1989. Listed in Naifeh & Smith’s, The Best Lawyers In America, Mark also holds the AV Preeminent rating from Martindale-Hubbell, which is the highest possible peer review rating
available for legal ability and ethics. He has received repeated recognition as one of the top lawyers in Massachusetts in Boston Magazine’s Super Lawyers Edition and has been recognized as one of the best lawyers in New England in the New England Super Lawyers Edition.
A native of Boston, Mark is a graduate of Boston College and Boston College Law School. He has served on the Alumni Boards of both schools, is a past President of the Law School’s Alumni Board and is a past President of the Law School’s Boston Alumni Chapter. He is a past President of the Massachusetts Family and Probate American Inn of Court, former member of the Boston Bar Association Council and its Executive Committee, past co-chair of the BBA’s Family Law Section, past chair of the BBA’s Education Committee and a former member of the Guardian ad litem Standards Review Committee of the Probate and Family Court. He also is an active member of the Massachusetts and Boston Bar Associations.
Mark frequently lectures and writes for seminars and other educational programs in the areas of family law, probate litigation, and equity practice. He is a co-author of the Alimony chapter of MCLE’s Massachusetts Divorce Law Practice Manual and the Complaint for Instructions chapter of Fiduciary Litigation in the Probate Court. He also has served in appointed positions as a discovery and special master, special administrator and guardian ad litem in proceedings before the Massachusetts Probate and Family Court.
